Emad's journey of perseverance, business, and Masonic service reflects his unwavering commitment to excellence. As Grand Master of Manitoba, he is honored and humbled to dedicate himself to the principles and community of Freemasonry
Most Worshipful Brother Emad N. Bisharat joined the Masonic fraternity in 1995, igniting his enduring dedication to Masonic pursuits. Becoming a member that year, he took on pivotal roles, notably serving as the Worshipful Master of Ancient Landmark Lodge No. 3 in 2005 and again in 2013, demonstrating his leadership and fidelity to Masonic principles.
His contributions extended beyond his lodge. Since 2008, he has been a valued member of the Board of the General Purposes, engaging in various committees. His commitment was further evident during his tenure as Grand Pursuivant from 2017 to 2018, District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) for Unity District in 2019-2020, and presently as the Senior Provincial Grand Warden of The Royal Order of Scotland.
In recognition of his steadfast dedication, the Masonic community in Manitoba elected Emad as the Junior Grand Warden in 2020. Due to the pandemic, he served for two years, installed in a modest ceremony attended by the Grand Master and Grand Secretary only. In June 2022, he advance to the Senior Grand Warden, and in 2023, to Deputy grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba.
Outside his Masonic pursuits, Emad successfully managed several businesses in Manitoba from 1979 until his semi-retirement from his prosperous business in Winnipeg in 2022. Alongside his professional endeavors, Emad found joy in his family life, being married to Suhad since 1983. They are blessed with three sons and five cherished grandchildren.
Taking on the role of the Grand Master of The Grand Lodge of Manitoba, Emad is dedicated to guiding the organization towards peace and harmony, guided by the principle of KISS: Keep it Simple and Strong. He aims to inspire members to embrace simplicity and strength, believing it will foster effective leadership and unity.
